Shrimp Game, a popular Roblox strategy-based survival game inspired by Squid Game, features intense challenges that test timing, observation, and strategic thinking. Two of its toughest tasks are the Glass Bridge and Red Light Green Light challenges. This article provides essential tips and strategies to help you survive and win these games.

The Glass Bridge Challenge

The Glass Bridge challenge in Shrimp Game is one of the most difficult stages. Players must cross a bridge made of glass panels, but only some panels are safe—others break under pressure, causing elimination.

Key Strategies to Survive the Glass Bridge:

  1. Observe First, Act Later: Let other players move first to identify safe panels. Avoid rushing, as guessing can lead to elimination.
  2. Stay Calm and Focused: The time limit can add pressure, but keeping composure and planning your jumps carefully is crucial.
  3. Adapt to Randomized Patterns: Each game generates a new pattern for safe panels, so memorizing earlier paths won’t help. Stay flexible and alert.

This challenge requires quick thinking, patience, and nerves of steel to reach the other side successfully.

Red Light, Green Light Challenge

Another gripping stage in Shrimp Game is Red Light, Green Light. Players must advance only during the green light phase and stop immediately when it turns red. Moving during the red light results in elimination.

Top Tips for Winning Red Light, Green Light:

  1. Perfect Timing Matters: Focus on stopping the moment the light turns red. Even slight movements can lead to failure.
  2. Use the Push Item Smartly: Available for 375K Won, this tool allows you to push opponents during red light phases, potentially eliminating competitors. Use it strategically to clear your path.
  3. Keep a Steady Pace: Avoid sprinting; instead, move smoothly and stop with precision to avoid detection.

Winning this challenge demands patience, strategy, and sharp observation skills.

General Shrimp Game Tips and Tricks

  • Practice Timing and Precision: Whether crossing glass panels or avoiding movement during red light, practice makes perfect.
  • Leverage Game Items: Tools like the Push item can create opportunities to remove threats and improve your chances of survival.
  • Team Up Strategically: In certain stages, collaborating with others can reduce risks, but trust wisely to avoid betrayal.

Shrimp Game offers thrilling challenges that test players’ decision-making and timing. By mastering strategies for the Glass Bridge and Red Light Green Light challenges, you can significantly improve your survival chances. With practice, smart moves, and proper use of tools, you’ll be ready to dominate Shrimp Game.

WinZo, a competitive gaming platform has taken its industry colleague MPL to the courtroom. The allegation of WinZO is the copyright infringement by MPL on one of their titles ‘World War.’ Over the last 5 years, WinZo has innovated formats for social multiple experiences. One such team format proprietary to WinZo was named “World War”.

Commencing in April 2020, the game currently has close to 80 million registered users. The company has applied for a patent for the invention, copyright registration in relation to the expression of the Format, and trademark for ‘World War’.

Around the last week of March 2022, WinZo discovered that MPL has copied the identical format with the identical name, World War.

When this was brought to their notice, MPL, on 28th March, took down the Format completely from their platform. However, in a complete volte-face, MPL re-commenced using the entire identical format with each of the distinctive features in use by WinZo, by 2nd April. This time, while they renamed their tournament as ‘Team Clash’, but the notifications/pop-ups sent to users still used ‘World War’.

WinZo sent a legal notice to MPL and when MPL refused to cease and desist from taking down the Format, WinZo was forced to file a suit seeking injunction to restrain MPL from continuing to use the Format on account of copyright infringement, passing off and unfair competition.

The matter was listed on 3.6.2022, before the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Naveen Chawla of the Delhi High Court.

After the matter was heard at some length, MPL’s counsel stated that the MPL has stopped using the mark “World War” and was willing to give an undertaking that the mark “World War” shall not be used with the Defendant’s game/ offering. Concerning the other allegations made by WinZo, MPL’s Counsel made a statement that MPL shall attempt to resolve the matter through negotiations with WinZo.

The matter is now listed for further proceedings on the 4th of July 2022.

WinZo was represented by Mr. Amit Sibal, Senior Advocate who was briefed by TMT Law Practice team comprising Abhishek Malhotra, Managing Partner and Atmaja Tripathy, Senior Associate.

MPL was represented by Rajshekhar Rao, Sr. Advocate instructed by Mansi Sood.

One of the most important aspects of streaming is your stream branding. Having a memorable and recognizable brand image is vital to a streamers career. If you have a look at the top streamers they all have a recognizable brand. Not only will branding help your reputation but it offers great leverage for selling merchandise down the line.

Selling merchandise is a great way to earn extra income as a streamer. However, your merchandise needs to be a strong representation of your brand and personality. This is where logos and overlays can help. In addition to all of this, a strong brand image will make your stream look a lot more professional.

Stream Branding Elements

There are many different elements that make up your stream branding. There is no definitive way to create stream branding. However, there are common elements used that are worth investing in.

To start off you will need a logo. Think carefully about the kind of logo that you want to get. Think about your personality and the kind of image you want to get across. You can find premade logos for sale, or you can get a fully custom-made logo.

Once you have your logo, you can now look into overlays. These overlays should also match the overall theme and colors of your logo, keep this in mind when you buy twitch overlays.

Stream Overlays Setup

Now that you have all your branding elements, you’re probably wondering how to add the overlays to your Twitch stream. In order to do this you will need some streaming software, such as OBS or Streamlabs OBS(SLOBS). This software allows you to fully customize your stream visuals.

Overlays can be added with either an image source or media source. All sources within the software can be placed and resized however you like. An image source as the name suggests is for adding image elements to a stream. This could be a facecam border, stream labels or even a top overlay. Media sources on the other hand are a way to add animated elements to your stream. Animated elements such as “starting soon screen”, or a webcam overlay.

Within the streaming software you can add scenes. Scenes are a way of separating different sources that can be switched between. An example of this would be having a live screen scene and an intermission screen. Having their sources separated allow you to easily switch between the two.

There are a load of great in depth tutorials on using the different streaming software. If you are having any issues setting up your overlays, then always try to find some YouTube tutorials on your specific software.

Channel Branding Setup

If you stream on Twitch then you will have noticed that every Twitch channel has the ability to add branding to it. The main branding elements of a Twitch channel are:

  • Profile Picture
  • Twitch Panels
  • Profile Banner
  • Offline Banner

All of these elements are usually included in a stream overlay package, but it’s always worth double checking. Having all of your branding come from the same package is a good way to keep everything consistent. A huge benefit of having channel branding is that viewers can get an idea of what your stream is about even when offline.

By using the Twitch panels you can give a lot of information to potential viewers about your stream, whether it’s your schedule or social handles. All of these elements play an important role in branding your stream.

Conclusion

The benefits of branding your stream are clear. Branding adds a level of professionalism to your stream that tells the viewers that you care about your stream. Overlays are at the core every streamers brand. They tie all the elements of the stream together in a way that also reinforces your brand.

You now know how to add overlays to your twitch channel, giving you a huge leg up on the competition.
